MEET NICOLE

Hi, I'm Nicole and it is so nice to meet you! You found me, and it looks like you’ve also found a cheerleader, friend, safe space and a therapist you’ll be working with too. Therapy can be such a life changing experience, and finding a therapist who can remind you of the light when it is lost, the confidence when we are at a lower point, the calm when we feel anxiety ridden and the humor when we cant get ourselves to laugh, is refreshing. I bring energy, love, humor and relatability into my sessions. I am also excited to share some great qualities I have as a therapist to help you feel informed and excited to work with me.

I have worked extensively with youth, young adults, parents, families and groups that are experiencing mental health disorders or obstacles. I use an empathic and holistic approach when working with clients and love to emphasize the healing factors of music, movement, and mindfulness. I bring livelihood, humor, vibrancy and energy into therapy sessions to make all of my clients feel at home. My goal is to help you overcome psychological obstacles, heighten your self esteem, strengthen the relationships around you and work with you to increase your quality of life. I am experienced in individual, group and family therapy.

I think it's important to know who I am behind my therapy and therapist role. Behind this, I am a competitive soccer player, singer, dancer, cat/dog lover and fellow USC alumni ( FIGHT ON!).  I love being with friends and family, and enjoy the views in Palos Verdes ( my hometown), Redondo beach and Hermosa beach!

I have extensive experience working with anxiety disorders, panic disorder, depression, suicidal ideation, self harm, OCD, bipolar disorder(s), attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder ( ADHD), trauma and healing in family systems. I have seven years of experience with adolescent development, young adult psychology and working with family systems.

A little more about Nicole…

I grew up in the beautiful South-Bay, in Rancho Palos Verdes ! Born and raised and now I reside in Palos Verdes estates on my own. It has been my dream to work AND live in the southbay ( my roots ).

My specialties - Anxiety Disorder - ADHD - emotional regulation , working with people of color / experience with diversity in lenses , adoption and panic disorder ( each of these are my specialties and specific track name from USC ).

My bucket list is going to Egypt for a year and study the way of life in the Egyptian Empire .  If I didn’t become a therapist was going to be an Egyptologist, and specialize in the study of mummification and the way of life. I feel called to this culture and research this on my own time. I also want to become a doctor in the field of psychology. The way humans have thought and think - inspired me to learn more !

My favorite food depends on who I’m with. I don’t have a favorite food … I just love eating with my best friends and probably in Hermosa beach.

My superpower is my strength, work ethic and ability to relate to teens. I am a therapist because of my own diverse mental health experiences, and I am so willing to share this with my clients , as healthy self disclosure. I have never had an experience where someone felt I could not understand them!
