MEET KELLI

My name is Kelli Carson and I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist who enjoys working with individuals, couples, preteens, teens, and families as they navigate life's challenges. I am dedicated to providing a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their concerns and work towards positive change. I have experience working with diverse populations and a range of mental health disorders and issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and life transitions.

When treating clients, I love curating relationships that make them feel safe and comfortable, while using a variety of therapeutic modalities to assist in treatment. I believe in the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and authenticity. I find it important to collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals. I am passionate about empowering my clients to build stronger connections, improve self-awareness, and achieve personal and relational goals.

Outside of therapy, I have many passions. I love sports, both playing and watching, and find myself traveling all over for USC football games and Sacramento Kings basketball games. I love to paddleboard, cycle, golf and take my 85lb bernedoodle Marvin to the dog beach on the weekends. I enjoy spending time with my family, my friends and my boyfriend and love living life near the beach.

If you would like to setup a free phone consultation with me to see if we would be a good fit, please reach out!

Specialties: Anxiety and Depression, Couples therapy, attachment-based therapy with teens and adults are my 3 specialities (so-far).

I grew up in northern California, in the small town of Placerville, which is situated in between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe.

I have a bucket list to travel to the top 25 college football stadiums (based on atmosphere, attendance and school success). I have done 16 of them and have 9 left.

Favorite food? Sushi! I eat sushi 2-3 time a week!

What is your superpower? I have an incredible memory. I can tell you what I was doing on this day 10 years ago without looking it up. I remember silly details like my childhood tutors birthday every year and retain all small and large details about everyone I meet.
